Honest answers.
No — and we won't claim it is. The science on "brain training" is genuinely mixed. What is well-established is that deliberate practice of cognitive tasks improves performance on those specific tasks. Whether that transfers to real-world memory is harder to prove.
Memmy is honest about this. We won't use phrases like "clinically proven" or "boost your IQ." What we offer: a structured daily habit, exercises that challenge working memory, and a gamification layer that makes consistent practice sustainable.
No. Memmy doesn't help you memorize facts, vocabulary, or exam content. The content in exercises is arbitrary by design — random numbers, generated patterns, shuffled symbols. What matters is the cognitive challenge, not the information itself.
If you want to memorize the periodic table or learn Spanish vocab, use Anki — it's excellent for that. Memmy is for building raw memory capacity as a transferable skill.
5–10 minutes. Each day you get 3 energy charges; each session uses 1. The cap is intentional — we want daily practice, not hour-long grinds. Charges reset overnight.
No. Memmy creates an anonymous session automatically. Your progress is saved to your device. If you want to appear on the global leaderboard or sync progress across devices, you can register an email — but it's fully optional.
Almost nothing. Anonymous users have no personal data collected — only session stats tied to a random anonymous ID. Registered users add only their email address. No ads SDK, no analytics SDK, no third-party data sharing. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
